A Good Weekend for Serenity Now

Serenity Now tossed off her dock lines both Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. On Saturday, JR ventured down from the south bay. We anchored off Strands in 65 feet of water, rowed the dinghy through the kelp to the inside of the kelp bed, tied off and went snorkeling. The visibility was poor but JR did not disappoint. I think that boy could find a needle in a haystack.

The Admiral and I enjoyed Sunday afternoon on the water, having lunch and watching the San Clemente coastline pass by. Light winds and warm air set the tone for the day. Saddleback Mountain made a perfect backdrop. Santiago Peak means so much more to us now. Summer has finally arrived.
