Mix mellow weather and warm water with a secluded Catalina cove and you get one thing...prime time at the island. Big Geiger Cove, home to the Blue Water Cruising Club, was empty when we dropped our anchors last week. A huge contrast from Avalon or the Isthmus during the summer.

It was time for the Jensen brothers, with sons Mitch and Luke, to raise the gennaker and cruise down the San Clemente coastline. The wind was light and near non-existent but the weather was perfect. We had plenty of good times to talk about while Mitch caught up on his sleep.
