SMALL CRAFT WARNING

Captain Cabo and Senora Debi joined us for an afternoon sail and dinner on board. The air was brisk and our two Americano friends were counting the minutes until they return to their warm Baja East Cape paradise. The weather forecast was slightly off too. We didn't expect the small craft warning upon our return to the marina. The conversation and dinner was wonderful, despite yours truly, losing two kabobs off the grill into the water. Oh well, no one went home hungry and the sea lions were happy.

A TRIP THAT ALMOST NEVER WAS

Finally, day after day of fog related delays, we made our way to Newport Harbor. It's not Catalina but it was a nice get-a-way.

A SEA OF FOG

Delayed for a second day. Grounded. Slip bound. No go. FRUSTRATING!! After two days of trip preparation, the fog rolled in like I've never seen before. A thick layer from here to the island and extremely limited visibility. Mother Nature is certainly unpredictable.
