Seems like only yesterday we were moving Serenity Now to her new home in Dana Point from King Harbor in Redondo Beach. She's done a lot of traveling since then. This last weekend JD and I explored the back side of the island and spent an evening at Silver Canyon. The winds were building so we tucked into Cat Harbor to wait for calmer seas. Back side weather is a whole lot different than front side.
Serenity NOW is a 2000 Catalina 36 MK-II designed for coastal cruising. She's birthed in Dana Point, CA and since 2003 has made 115 passages to Catalina Island, overnight visits to the islands of Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, Isla de Cedros off Baja and has explored the coast from Santa Barbara to the East Cape of Baja Sur, Mexico. She has weighed anchor in excess of 250 times. We've put thousands of miles under her keel. She's an ocean-going mobile home and we love her!
