Genoa, Spinnaker, Gennaker...

On our recent crossing from Catalina we were able to fly our gennaker.

Q: What's that?

A: A sail that is the combination of a genoa and a spinnaker. It's asymmetrical, like the genoa, but larger and more colorful and flown like a symmetrical spinnaker.

This may be on the quiz next time you're on the boat.

Let's go sailing!
