I agree you should go next time. Here's answers to a few of your questions...not sure about JR's car, he was in no hurry to get it back. It was a tie for the most bugs, each had one. "Nesporado, Nesporado" is more than just a song, it's an experience that transcends all your senses and emotions and puts one on a different level and cognitive plane. You'll have to experience it on the next trip.
Serenity NOW is a 2000 Catalina 36 MK-II designed for coastal cruising. She's berthed in Dana Point, CA and since 2003 has made over 130 passages to Catalina Island, with overnight visits to five of the eight California Channel Islands: Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, San Clemente and Catalina. We've overnighted at Isla de Cedros off Baja and have explored the coast from Santa Barbara to the East Cape of Baja Sur, Mexico. She has weighed anchor in excess of 285 times. We've put thousands of miles under her keel. She's an ocean-going maritime mobile home and we love her!
