Just viewed this video. Whew, where is the dramamine!? What a cool experience to see down below while the boat is moving. Don't think that will ever happen in my lifetime in person. So next best thing. Love all your creativity on your blog. Love, Denise
Serenity NOW is a 2000 Catalina 36 MK-II designed for coastal cruising. She's berthed in Dana Point, CA and since 2003 has made over 130 passages to Catalina Island, with overnight visits to five of the eight California Channel Islands: Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, San Clemente and Catalina. We've overnighted at Isla de Cedros off Baja and have explored the coast from Santa Barbara to the East Cape of Baja Sur, Mexico. She has weighed anchor in excess of 285 times. We've put thousands of miles under her keel. She's an ocean-going maritime mobile home and we love her!

Nice vid.
Wish you had one for the 35 knots we hit.
It must of been crazy for the way pops came up that companionway.
It is amazing how quickly one can move when motivated. How close is the fire to you and your parents?
not close to us here in t.o.
Closer to the east end of simi.
My parents have a lot smoke.
