We pulled out of the harbor around 1 pm for an afternoon on the water. Skies were clear, air was cool and the water temp was 59 degrees. It was a real Niespodziany afternoon...wind from the west up to 16 knots pushing us along at a consistent 6.8-7.7 knots. It was a great day and Bob Marley added to the enjoyment. Right before sunset, we dropped the hook in the west anchorage in the shadow of the tall ship Pilgram and buttoned up for the night. After dinner the Scrabble board came out and The Admiral prevailed. Her double word score using all 7 tiles didn't hurt her cause! We shared the anchorage with three other sail boats. The one next to us was from Anchorage Alaska. We weighed anchor the next morning about 7:30 am and were back in our slip by 8 am. Just another great time on the water.
