POINTER'S A NATURAL
Greg took the helm recently and off we went. San Juan Capistrano native Greg, AKA "Pointer", was the catcher on our 1974 DHHS baseball team. That team set many individual and team records at the high school including first league championship in any sport. Those young men set the tone for a very successful baseball program at Dana Hills for years to come. And without exception, every player from that year succeeded in their adult lives. Makes their coach proud.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL SUMMER DAY
This summer has been very mild as far as the heat goes and our most recent sail was no exception. The Admiral and I set sail for an enjoyable afternoon on the water. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the rest of this month and September follow suit.

FIFTY-SEVEN DEGREES
For whatever reason, the water temperature as reported at the San Clemente Pier this morning was a frigid 57 degrees. But that didn't deter the intrepid Nesporado crew as Sailor Jerry and El Jeffe joined the Admiral and the capt for a sail, capped off by barbecuing a few burgers on the hook in Danalina. Super day!
