IT'S BIRTHDAY TIME IN CATALINA

The capt celebrated his big day with the Admiral in one of our favorite coves, Big Geiger. The conditions for anchoring six nights were excellent, flat seas and little wind. Plus we had the place to ourselves every night except one. That's the beautiful thing about anchoring...going places that are secluded and uncrowded.

The Admiral knocked herself out making this trip extra-special with her planning and preparation. Bravo Zulu my love!

The ride home was a warm one.

DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT

We recently experienced intermittent VHF radio failure. Not good if you're on the water and there's an emergency. I was able to find a replacement transmitter and did the install today. No kidding... it took me three times as long to remove the original than it did to install the new one. Let's go sailing!

The radio resides in the hole on the left of the cabinet.
